Recruitment under way for West London teacher training in 2024

Teach West London have successfully begun recruiting for trainee teachers to start training from September 2024.

Offering trainees in West London immersive school-centred training at the highest performing academy trust in the country (Twyford C of E Academy Trust, based on Progress 8 scores), the provision is already attracting a high number of applications.

Director of Initial Teacher Training, Dharmini Shah explains; "We’ve been delighted to have received over 200 applications in the past month. Given the well-publicised national teacher recruitment issues, it’s refreshing to see so many people in our local West London communities that want to make a positive impact and get in to teaching."

Teach West London work with a network of local placement schools in the West London boroughs of Ealing, Harrow, Hillingdon and Hounslow. Recruitment for the September 2024 cohort continues.
